In 2007, we opened our second plant in Leipzig. There, we produce high-precision
parts for the wind power industry (gearboxes, torque supports, etc.).
In order to ensure our growth and to offer our customers ideal
production conditions, SMB has again made big investments in its machinery.
This mostly relates to:
- 2 High-speed milling machines (HPS-120 APC - 5 Axes )
- 1 CNC-milling machine (HF-6M APC)
- 4 CNC-boring machine (NB-130).
In December 2008, SMB passed the certification audits for EN ISO 9001:2000.
